Abstract. The results from studies indicate there is no change in the constant structure glide kinetics of copper across the 673 to 973K temperature range. The values of the obstacle strength parameter, g{sub o}, are in the range of 0.701 and 0.785, which is characteristic of medium strength obstacles such as forest dislocations.

The crystallization behavior of amorphous Fe 90-x Nb 10 B x alloys was investigated. The relationship between the stability of supercooled liquid state and the phases formed upon crystallization was studied. JF - Scripta Materialia. SN - 1359-6462.

Mark; Abstract. Fatigue performance under axisymmetric push-pull loading of a magnesium alloy Mg-6Zn-0.5Zr (ZK60) after processing by integrated extrusion and equal-channel angular pressing was investigated. The early aging of Weldalite 049 alloy was examined by three dimensional atom probe (3DAP) to clarify the role of Ag and Mg atoms for the uniform dispersion of plate-like {111} precipitates. 3DAP analysis showed that both Mg and Ag atoms are segregated to the broad interface of T 1 plates. In addition, how Ag and Mg atoms are incorporated in the T 1 plate was investigated by characterizing the Abstract Precipitation strengthening is considered to be one of the most effective ways to improve engineering structural materials. However, introducing high-density nanoprecipitates in alloys is … Show/hide abstract The publisher has not yet granted permission to display this abstract.

Attention will be directed towards the composition undulation almost inevitable in these highly concentrated solutions, even when the alloy is a single-phase and nominally random solution.
